Banff is an oil and gas field in the Central North Sea, located 30 km west of Total's Elgin and Franklin fields. Discovered in 1991, the field had commercial reserves of around 59 mmbbl of oil and 139 bcf of gas. Banff produces via the leased Petrojarl Banff floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO). The field started full production in January 1999.
