Report summaryThe Bashenkol oil field is located in Aktobe region in central Kazakhstan, close to the Kenkiyak field. It is operated by a Korean-led consortium, headed by Korea National Oil Company (KNOC). Bashenkol came onstream in late 2009 and the field was awarded a full production contract in April 2013.
