Black Widow (EW 966) is a small oil field discovered in 1998 in the Ewing Bank protraction area of the deepwater Gulf of Mexico. The field has been developed as a single-well, subsea tie-back to the Eni-operated Morpeth TLP, located 5 kilometres (3 miles) to the west in EW 921. First oil was achieved in October 2000.
