Report summary

Block 16 is located 140 kilometres to the wast of Angola in the Lower Congo Basin. In 2018, Total took over as operator after acquiring Maersk Oil and Gas. Maersk had made three oil discoveries: Chissonga in 2009, followed by Caporolo and Cubal.
