Bolia-Chota (OML 131 & 135)
Report summary
Bolia-Chota is located in water depth of over 1,000 metres in the Niger Delta. The Chota field was discovered on OPL 220 in 1998. Further drilling proved that the field extended into OPL 219, where it is known as Bolia. Both OPLs were converted into OMLs in 2005, however due to its relatively small size, we classify Bolia-Chota as contingent resource.
