Bombay Offshore Basin (ONGC only)
Report summary
Located off the west coast of India, ONGC's fields in the Gujarat Offshore and Mumbai Basin (collectively referred to as "Bombay Offshore Basin" in this report) contribute almost 44% of India's oil production. The Bombay High field is by far the largest in the basin. Other significant fields include the Heera and Neelam oil fields and the Bassein gas field. ONGC is currently in the process of arresting declining production.
