The Cervia Mare gas field and the satellite Arianna gas field are situated in shallow water in the Northern Adriatic Sea, close to the shore of Forli province. Cervia Mare was discovered by Eni in 1966 with the Cervia Mare-3 exploration well. The Arianna field was discovered in 1969 with Eni's Arianna-1 well, drilled on the A.R6.AS exploration permit. In 1997, the Arianna Nord-1 well successfully proved up an extension of the Arianna field to the north.The fields have been developed ...
