Report summaryThe Cyrus oil field is located in the Central North Sea, 16 kilometres south of the Kinnoull field. It was re-developed as part of the BP-operated Andrew project. The original Cyrus development used a tanker-based Single Well Oil Production System (SWOPS). Production from the redevelopment started in 1996 and included a subsea tie-back to the Andrew platform with production via two horizontal producers. Oil from Cyrus is exported to the Andrew field where the initial processing takes place. ...
