Dana has announced the acquisition of a portfolio of oil assets in the UK Central North Sea from Suncor for a cash consideration of US$372 million (£240 million), effective 1 July 2010. Dana will also gain a UK capital allowance of US$92 million (£60 million). The deal follows Dana's recently completed acquisition of Suncor's Dutch operations for a consideration of US$374 million (€305 million) - the largest deal in the company's history.
