Report summary

The Degirmenköy gas field lies in the Thrace Basin in northwest Turkey. It was discovered by TPAO and produced gas from a Sogucak limestone reservoir.The Degirmenköy field was originally developed using two wells and a single processing unit. Total capital costs for the Degirmenköy field are estimated to have been US$11.6 million in nominal terms. Gas was exported directly to industrial consumers in the towns of Degirmenköy and Canta.
