Report summary
The onstream El M'Zaid oil and associated gas fields are located approximately 80 kilometres west of Algeria's giant Hassi Messaoud field in the Oued Mya Basin. Fifteen fields were discovered by Sonatrach in the 1970s and 1980s. The fields were brought onstream using the facilities at Guellala.
