EP Energy - US Gulf Coast

Report summary

EP Energy is a small-cap, publicly traded upstream operator with assets in the Gulf Coast, Rockies and Permian regions. Formerly the upstream subsidiary of El Paso, EP Energy was spun off during Kinder Morgan's corporate acquisition of El Paso in 2011 and sold to a private equity consortium led by Apollo Global Management. In early 2014, EP Energy was taken public as a stand-alone corporation. This analysis focuses on its southern Eagle Ford assets in the Gulf Coast.
