The Vesterled system is a link between the Norwegian gas pipeline system and the UK gas market via the Norwegian Frigg pipeline (now part of Vesterled). The pipeline was installed between the Heimdal riser platform (now offline) in Norwegian waters and the Frigg Norway pipeline, bypassing the depleted Frigg field.
