Report summaryThe Gaviota gas/condensate field was the first offshore gas field developed in Spain. Eniepsa, the forerunner to Repsol, discovered the field with the Vizcaya B-1 well in 1980. The field was developed with a 12 well-slot steel platform, situated approximately eight kilometres offshore the northern coast of Spain. It was developed with eight production wells.
