Global frontier oil supply summary

Report summary

Our Frontier category represents production from yet-to-find discoveries expected to be made in remote basins, where essentially no exploration drilling has yet taken place, or has only very recently begun (excluding drilling for stratigraphic purposes).  Frontier oil/NGL production is forecast to begin in 2020 with total global output reaching around 1.5 million b/d in 2030. Frontier basins in Africa and Latin America are seen as offering the most supply potential over the period.
