Report summary

Govsany and Zykh are two small, mature fields located on the southern Absheron Peninsula, southeast of Baku. The fields have been redeveloped since the early 1990s, but production levels are far below the peaks achieved in the 1940s and 1950s. A 25-year PSC was signed with Russneft in November 2006, giving the company a 75% stake in a rehabilitation project.
