Report summary

The Haliba field is located in east Abu Dhabi, near the border with Oman. It was discovered in 1991, but only started development in 2015. The field is operated by Al Dhafra Petroleum, a joint venture between ADNOC, KNOC and GS Energy. The partners carried out well tests in 2015, and initially targeted production of 5,000 b/d in 2017, ramping up to 40,000 b/d in 2019. We take a more conservative view on the production profile.
