Report summary

The Kaliakra and Kavarna fields, operated by Petroceltic, were discovered in 2008 in the Bulgarian sector of the Black Sea. Kavarna East was discovered in 2010 and is expected onstream in 2019, at which point Kavarna will be shut-in. Kavarna East will be developed via a single subsea-well tied-back to existing infrastructure at the Galata field. Gas production averaged 3.6 mmcfd in 2017. All gas is sold domestically.
