Report summary

Kingfisher has been developed via a subsea tie back to the Brae 'Bravo' platform nine kilometres to the west. The development includes six highly deviated multilateral production wells connected to a subsea manifold. The project uses a High Integrity Pressure Protection System (HIPPS) to protect the pipeline from the high pressures present in some of the Kingfisher wells which was the world's first use of this type of subsea system.
