Report summary

Libra is a major pre-salt oil and gas field located in the Santos basin and is one of Brazil's flagship assets. Libra was discovered by Brazil's upstream regulator, the Agência Nacional do Petróleo (ANP), in 2011. It is located in ultra-deep waters, around 45 kilometres to the northeast of the Iara pre-salt field. The ANP has suggested that it holds reserves of 8 to 12 billion barrels of oil equivalent, and it is possible that the field is the largest in Brazil.The ...
