Liza is located in deepwater Guyana and was discovered in 2015 by ExxonMobil. The field is currently undergoing a drilling campaign aimed towards the exploration of nearby prospects. In June 2016 ExxonMobil announced the successful drilling of the Liza 2 appraisal well. The operator subsequently announced that commercial recoverable reserves could range between 800 and 1 400 mmboe.
