Brent
Report summary
The Brent oil and gas field was discovered in 1971. It was developed using one steel and three concrete platforms, and produced for 45 years before ceasing production in 2021. Decommissioning planning started in 2006, owing to the size and complexity of the giant concrete Brent platforms.
