Report summary

The Mangara and Badila oil fields are located in the Doba Basin southern Chad. Mangara was discovered in 1978 by Conoco while ExxonMobil discovered the Badila field in 2002. Caracal Energy discovered the Krim field in 2013 only seven kilometres away from Mangara.In 2011 Griffiths Energy International which became Caracal Energy in 2013 signed a production sharing contract (PSC) for two blocks covering the Mangara and Badila fields.
