Report summaryThe Mura Depression lies in the far north of Croatia and borders both Slovenia and Hungary. It is a small sub-basin of the Pannonian Basin which lies in the far north of Croatia, bordering Slovenia and Hungary. The depression contains Cenozoic sediments and Triassic Dolomites with a thickness of up to 4,500 metres.
