Report summary

The Mura Depression lies in the far north of Croatia and borders both Slovenia and Hungary. It is a small sub basin of the Pannonian Basin which lies in the far north of Croatia bordering Slovenia and Hungary. The depression contains Cenozoic sediments and Triassic Dolomites with a thickness of up to 4 500 metres. The main reservoir rocks are Lower and Middle Miocene clastics and sandstones and Upper Miocene Pannonian sandstones. The region is mostly gas prone and has a number of fields ...
