Report summary

The Nakhla and Hamid area fields lie within the Concession 97 licence in the Sirte Basin in eastern Libya. First production from the fields began in 1988 after the operator, Wintershall, installed production facilities at the 1967 discovery, Hamid. The 1970s discoveries, Nakhla and Tuama, were brought onstream in 1994 and 1995 respectively.
