Report summary

The NC29 and NC74 blocks lie in Libya's Sirte Basin. Several oil fields within the blocks were brought onstream between 1978 and 1986 and production peaked at 65,000 b/d in the mid-1980s. The fields are now mature and production has been in decline for many years.Occidental signed an Exploration and Production Sharing Agreement (EPSA) for the NC29 block in September 1974.
