Ngosso
Report summary
The Ngosso Block is situated in the Niger Delta Basin and covers part of the Bakassi peninsula, close to the border with Nigeria. The acreage was explored by Pecten Cameroon and Elf Serepca in the 1970s and 1980s, and five sub-commercial discoveries were made from eight wells in the Tertiary play. Addax was awarded the block in 2002, and went on to drill a number of Cretaceous prospects in the western part of the block but results were disappointing. The licence was relinquished to the ...
