Report summary

The Nicol oil field lies in Central North Sea block 15/25a, 10 kilometres northwest of the Brenda field. The field was discovered in 1988 by Shell.Nicol was developed via a single horizontal subsea well tied back to the Brenda manifold. Production is commingled with Brenda oil and transported onwards to the Balmoral floating production vessel (FPV).
