The Noord Friesland concession contains a cluster of gas fields located onshore and in the inshore waters of the northern Netherlands. The small Blija Ferwerderadeel gas field was the first field developed on the concession in the mid 1980s. Ameland Oost, the main field on the concession, was brought onstream in 1986.
