The North Idku development comprises two blocks North Idku and North El Amriya located offshore in the Nile Delta. The area surrounds Edison's Abu Qir and North Abu Qir wet gas fields. DEA operates both blocks with a 100% interest. Three Pliocene wet gas fields were discovered on the block between 1999 and 2002.
