Report summaryOML 46 is a large block in the onshore southwestern Niger Delta, and is part of the NNPC/Shell Joint Venture. The terrain is mostly mangrove swamp, and the block is intersected by numerous rivers and creeks. Part of OML 46 lies offshore and includes the mouth of the Ramos River. OML 46 contains eight discoveries, four of which - in the southern part of the block - have been developed. Production from the fields was shut-in in 2006 due to civil unrest in the Forcados area.
