Report summaryOML 53 is a large onshore block in the north-eastern Niger Delta. It was part of the NNPC/Chevron Joint Venture (JV) until 2015. Jisike is its only producing field, located in the north-western corner of the block. Jisike extends into OML 124 where it is known as Izombe. Jisike started production in 1978, and peaked at over 10,000 b/d in 1991.
