Report summary

The onshore North Sumatra Pase block contains two small gas fields Pase A and Pase B. Both fields supply gas to the Arun LNG Plant. Pase A was brought onstream in October 1998 by ExxonMobil with Pase B following in 2003. Production was shut in in 2008 due to a series of production issues and after the shut in ExxonMobil sold its 100% interest to ASX listed Maverick Energy Limited at the end of 2009.
