This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
The Indonesian government has awarded a 20-year extension of the Rokan PSC to PERTAMINA. The NOC's proposal for the block has been judged more beneficial for the government than the submission made by current operator Chevron. PERTAMINA will take over operatorship when the current contract expires in October 2021. The block produces around 205,000 kb/d, making up 25% of Indonesia's total oil output.
