PERTAMINA EP's South Sumatra onshore acreage, currently managed under the Asset 2 unit, is one of the major gas producers in Sumatra. Gas production began in the 1970s, supplying the domestic market in South Sumatra, particularly for fertiliser production. to support the expansion of the Pusri fertiliser plant complex.
