PetroResurs operates the Laganski block. It is located in the Russian sector of the Caspian Sea, close to several LUKOIL-operated fields. The Morskoye field was discovered in 2008. It is believed that only 50% of the field lies in the Laganski block, with the remainder of the field stretching into the adjacent block as West Rakushechnoye.
