Report summary
The Ras El Barr fields are located in the offshore Nile Delta, west of the Temsah gas field.Amoco (now BP) discovered the Ha'py gas and condensate field in 1996. With around 1.5 tcf of gas and 60 million barrels of condensate, it was one of the largest offshore discoveries in Egypt at the time. A development licence was awarded in 1997, and Ha'py came onstream in 2000.Additional discoveries on the acreage - Seth, Akhen, and Taurt - were brought onstream in subsequent development ...
