Repsol Oil & Gas Canada is an upstream oil and gas focused subsidiary of the Spanish integrated energy company Repsol S.A. Through this subsidiary, Repsol participates in the exploration and production of oil and natural gas in the US, Canada, southeast Asia, the UK, and Colombia. In 2015, Repsol acquired the Marcellus focused operator Talisman Energy. We estimate that Repsol's Appalachian assets account for 75% of its Lower 48 production and almost 60% of remaining value in the Lower 48.
