Located in the Berkine Basin in Eastern Algeria, Blocks 401 and 402a hold the Rhoude Ouland Djemma (ROD) development. BHP Petroleum (Woodside Energy) made the six discoveries in the 1990s. A development licence was issued in 2001 and production from ROD and its five satellite fields began in 2004.
