Report summary

Rodador is a mature field located 117 km northwest of Villahermosa in the state of Tabasco. It will be offered as one of the JV opportunities available with Pemex in Round Two in 2016. The field is in the Southeastern Tertiary basins and is part of the Cinco Presidentes business unit. The Rodador field is located in Isthmian Saline basin in southeastern Mexico. The main reservoir for the field is the middle Miocene-lower Pliocene Encanto formation. The Encanto formation consists of interbedded sand and shale with variable thickness through the formation. Most of the oil produced rom Encanto is from shingled turbidites in the middle and lower portions of the formation.
