TPAO, Türkiye (Turkey)'s state energy firm, operates the giant Sakarya gas field and other ultra-deepwater deposits in the Black Sea. The discoveries have been made since 2020. Sakarya is the biggest-ever hydrocarbon find in the Black Sea and the largest in Turkey's history.
