Report summary

The Galoc oil field (SC14C) is situated in the North West Palawan Basin offshore Philippines and was the first sandstone reservoir oil discovery in the Philippines. The service contract originally contained the West Linapacan A West Linapacan B and Galoc fields. A separate development licence was awarded for Galoc in May 2005. The Galoc field started production in October 2008 through two horizontal wells tied back to a leased FPSO.
