Report summary

South East Mananda is a ceased field located in the Southern Highlands of Papua New Guinea 13 kilometres northwest of the Kutubu oil export infrastructure. It was discovered by Chevron in 1991 but considered sub commercial at the time given its size and location. In 2003 Oil Search and ExxonMobil reassessed the field's commerciality by reprocessing seismic then entered FEED in 2004. Production started in 2006 and ceased in 2014.
