Shell finds more success in Jurassic with the Dover discovery
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
On 24 May 2018, Shell (100%, operator) announced a potentially large Dover discovery in the Gulf of Mexico. This is Shell's sixth Jurassic discovery in the US Gulf of Mexico and takes Shell's Jurassic discovered resources in GoM to almost one bboe. The field is expected to tieback to the Shell-operated Appomattox facility which comes onstream next year. We do not expect any further appraisal work and model first oil in 2024.
