Statoil and Talisman have announced the joint acquisition of 97,000 net acres in the Eagle Ford Shale from Enduring Resources for US$1,325 million. The acreage, 90% of which is located in the gas-condensate window of the play, straddles LaSalle, McMullen, Live Oak, Karnes, and DeWitt counties.
