Report summary

The Tea fields lie in the northern Adriatic and consist of three gas accumulations: Tea, Arnica and Lavanda. In 1998, the Tea field was the first of the three accumulations discovered. Tea-1 was sidetracked, and more gas was encountered by Tea-1DirA. This well tested at a rate of 23.5 mmcfd of gas from Lower Pliocene sandstones. In 1999, Eni discovered gas one kilometre to the east of Tea with well Lavanda-1dirA. In 2000, a third discovery was made with the Arnica-1 well which was ...
