Report summary

The TFR,TIM and BEQ fields are located in the southeast region, around fifty kilometres south of the Tin Fouye-Tabankort field. Repsol YPF was awarded an exploration licence for the Erg Issaouane area covering Blocks 226a, 228a, 229a and 238a in December 1990. Three discoveries were made in the area between 1993 and 1996. These were TFR (Tifernine), TIM (Tin Mesnaguene) and BEQ (Bir El Qattara). Production commenced from the TFR field in December 1998. Production start-up from the TIM ...
