The big three integrated service companies recently kicked off earnings season for the oilfield services sector. As expected by the market, severe winter weather in North America and parts of Europe, along with the typical seasonal slowdown in activity significantly affected Q1 results. Combined revenues for the Big 3 fell 5% relative to Q4 2013 but increased by 6% year-on-year.
