This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
Total (40%) and its partners, Repsol (30%) and OMV (30%), have made an ultra-deepwater, play-opening oil discovery at the offshore Khan Asparuh block in Bulgaria. Polshkov-1 is the seventh exploration well drilled in the deep and ultra-deepwater Black Sea since Romania's flagship Domino gas discovery in 2011. This is the first discovery in Bulgaria’s ultra-deepwater sector of the Black Sea and confirms the presence of a deep, thermogenic oil play in the western Black Sea.
