Report summary

Total is a major multinational E&P company headquartered in France, with activities in over 40 countries. Within the Lower 48, Total is active in both the Northeast and Gulf Coast regions. The company entered through a JV with Chesapeake Energy, making them the first NOC in the Utica Shale in November 2011.
